Jennifer Lawrence has offered Ariana Grande a role in upcoming movie Miss Piggy which she is co-producing alongside friend Emma Stone

Following the success of blockbuster movie Wicked, Ariana Grande has been offered a new role by Jennifer Lawrence. The Hunger Games actress has told Ari that she can have a part in the upcoming Miss Piggy film if she wants it.
Jennifer is co-producing the film all about the Muppet diva, who she’s previously branded a “feminist icon”, alongside her good pal Emma Stone.
Speaking about Ariana at the Golden Globes, J-Law gushed: “If she wants to be in the movie I would love for her to be in the movie, please be in Miss Piggy!”
Word has already got around and Ariana responded to the offer on the Golden Globes red carpet, she said: “I mean, I am open! I am a big fan of The Muppets.”

The project was first announced in November and although both Jennifer and Emma have ruled out playing Miss Piggy themselves, they’ve recently hinted that they may star in the film as well as produce it.
Lawrence said: “We have to… It’s f***ed up [that we haven’t done a movie together].”
Ariana and Wicked: For Good was surprisingly snubbed at the Golden Globes however the singer/actress insisted she’s all about celebrating her peers.
She said: “I try and watch everyone’s movies so I can make sure to tell them how much I love them, and now am a voter for the academy so I take it very seriously.”

The popstar was asked if there’s anything else to expect from the Wicked franchise following the release of the second and final installment of the film, and she replied: “I don’t have these answers!”
