Mhlanguli Brian Moyo sadly passed away following a collision in Kerry

Tributes have poured for a husband who sadly lost his life following a two car crash in Kerry over the weekend.
Gardaí and emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a two car collision on the N22 near Dromadeesirt, Kerry at around 6:40pm on Saturday, January 10.
Mhlanguli Brian Moyo, aged in his 40s, who was one of the drivers, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His body was removed to the local mortuary where a post-mortem will take place in due course.
The other driver, a male aged in his 30s, was conveyed to University Hospital Kerry for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening at this time.
Amai Malawi Ireland posted a tribute to Mhlanguli, who was originally from Zimbabwe, following his tragic passing. Mr Moyo’s funeral arrangements will be made in time.
Amai Malawi Ireland wrote in a post on Facebook: “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our brother-in-law, Mr. Mhlanguli Brian Moyo, husband to our sister Fishani Kumwenda, originally from Zimbabwe.
“Mr. Moyo tragically lost his life in a fatal car accident on Saturday in County Kerry.
“The Association of Malawians will work closely with the Zimbabwean community in coordinating matters related to this loss. Further details will be communicated in due course. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Any road users, who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N22 near Dromadeesirt between 6:20pm and 6:50pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064 6671160, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”
