Most recently, he has served as an administrative director within the Mental Health and Addictions Program, “where he led complex inpatient, outpatient, and regional programs and supported teams delivering care to some of our most vulnerable patients,” said HSN in a release.

Throughout his career, Molke has “demonstrated a strong commitment to equitable, patient-centred care, with a focus on adult, child and youth mental health and in supporting individuals facing social and systemic barriers,” according to the release. “He is widely respected for building partnerships with community agencies, regional stakeholders, and multiple levels of government, recognizing that meaningful system transformation depends on collaboration and trust.”

In addition to his operational leadership, Molke brings “a strong evidence-informed approach to care delivery,” the hospital said. “His doctoral training and research experience support the thoughtful integration of clinical innovation, quality improvement, and system planning capabilities that will be valuable as he assumes responsibility for this broad and interrelated portfolio.”

HSN president David McNeil said Molke has many attributes to bring to his new role.

“Daniel is known for leading with integrity, humility and compassion, and for fostering high-performing teams grounded in respect, transparency, and shared accountability,” said McNeil. “These qualities, combined with his depth of experience and system perspective, position him well to advance HSN’s strategic priorities and support excellence in care for our patients, families, and communities.”

Molke takes over for Natalie Aubin, who moved on to another opportunity at Montfort Hospital in Ottawa in 2025. He begins his role on Monday.
