TNG Digital and Ant International have officially launched EPOS360 and EPOS360 BlueTap in Malaysia which offers an all-in-one digital payment solution for micro, small and medium enterprises.

With the BlueTap terminal, TNG eWallet users can now make contactless payment via NFC, similar to Apple Pay. This is Malaysia’s first Tap-to-Pay feature that works with an eWallet.

EPOS is an all-in-one SME transformation platform of Ant International and it provides Malaysian mSMEs direct access to AI-powered tools that handles point of sales, integrated payments and marketing capabilities on a single platform.

EPOS360 offers an all-in-one digital payment solution for mSMEs

EPOS360 is offered as a mini-app in TNG eWallet and it allows mSMEs to accept wider contactless payment options with their BlueTap device.

With an introductory one-off price of RM199 (normal: RM299), the BlueTap terminal is an affordable way to accept DuitNow QR payments with dynamic QR generation and it also supports NFC payments via TNG eWallet as well as Credit and Debit Cards.

The EPOS BlueTap terminal essentially looks like an evolution of TNG eWallet’s SoundBox as it comes with an NFC terminal, a 3.97″ screen to show dynamic QR code and a speaker to provide audio confirmation for transactions.

Over at the back, there’s a 1.9″ display and a keypad that allows merchants to accept payments without a POS by simply entering the transaction amount. The device supports both 4G and WiFi, which is required to connect to EPOS360.

Merchants can set up their inventory and track their transactions via the EPOS360 solution. According to TNG eWallet, merchants can enjoy the solution with no monthly subscription and there’s also no transaction/Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) fee for accepting QR payments.

However, credit and debit card acceptance for BlueTap isn’t available yet but it is coming later as an extra option. Traditionally, card payments would incur MDR fees and TNG eWallet merchants can choose whether or not to accept card payments for their business.

For ease of setup, EPOS360 has a range of tools which include the ability to create a digital menu by simply taking a picture of their physical menu with photos, pricing and description.

In addition, EPOS360 also allows small businesses to create promotional campaigns that can be shared on various online platforms. They can also further amplify their marketing campaigns via TNG eWallet’s Near Me feature.

For businesses that have yet to go online, EPOS360 also makes it easier for mSMEs to create an online store with the ability to accept payments online including TNG eWallet, Alipay and Google Pay.

Existing TNG eWallet merchants including those with the SoundBox can switch to EPOS360 and BlueTap seamlessly as business owners can still continue to track their transactions on the same TNG eWallet Merchant Dashboard.

At the moment, EPOS360 doesn’t support e-Invoice but it will be introduced later as they continue to add more features including digital loyalty programmes.

Merchants can now sign up for EPOS360 and purchase the EPOS BlueTap terminal, which is expected to begin shipping in February 2026.

Tap-to-Pay now available for TNG eWallet

TNG Digital has also enabled Tap-to-Pay for TNG eWallet via the built-in BlueTap mini-app. There’s no extra app required and it works on iPhone and Android smartphones equipped with NFC.

When you see a merchant with the EPOS360 BlueTap terminal, you can tap your smartphone onto the terminal to make a payment. You don’t need to open TNG eWallet as you can tap even without unlocking your smartphone. By default, a verification is needed to confirm the transaction.

The BlueTap mini app will be loaded automatically and users can confirm the payment via biometrics (Face ID/Fingerprint) or with your TNG eWallet’s 6-digit PIN.

Once a transaction is completed, the EPOS BlueTap terminal will provide a visual and audio confirmation that payment is successful. Connected to EPOS360, business owners are able to get a real-time status of the transactions remotely on their device.

For quicker payment, users can choose to bypass authentication for amounts of RM250 and below. This can be done by enabling the feature through TNG eWallet’s Settings > Security > Transaction Limit as shown above.
