Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation following a reported spate of early morning assaults that occurred on Wednesday morning.
The alleged assaults are believed to have been committed in Malahide Village in north county Dublin shortly after 9am.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who were in the area at the time to come forward with information.
“Gardaí responded to report of a number of assault incidents in Malahide Village at approximately 9:10am on the 14th of January 2026,” a Garda spokesperson said in a statement.
“Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, and was in the Malahide area between 9am and 9:20am, to contact them.” It continued: “Anyone with information is asked to contact Coolock Garda Station on 01 666 4200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”
