Chances are, “His & Hers” needs no introduction to the majority of our readers, as this twisty six-part mystery thriller series has held tightly onto the No. 1 spot on Netflix since its debut earlier this month; it’s already brought in almost 20 million viewers in its first week on the platform.

If you’re not caught up yet, “His & Hers” centers on two people: Anna Andrews (Tessa Thompson), and her estranged husband, Jack Harper (Jon Bernthal). Anna’s an ex-news anchor who heads back to her Georgia hometown after a brutal murder, and Jack’s the officer heading up the official investigation into the death. Anna launches her own inquiry into the crime, and as Jack grows suspicious of her interests, the pair find themselves on opposite sides of a complicated murder case, with secrets seemingly around every corner…

worthy”The Upshaws” returned for the seventh and final part on January 15, bringing this easy-watching, old-school sitcom to its end with an extra batch of 12 half-hour episodes. It might be a farewell, but Netflix promises this final run is “culminating in an unforgettable series finale,” so expect a worthy send-off.

Created by Regina Hicks and Wanda Sykes, “The Upshaws” follows family patriarch Bernie (Mike Epps) and the rest of his Black, working-class Indianapolis family. Bernie tries to do his best to care for the rest of the family — wife Regina (Kim Fields), their daughters (Khali Spraggins and Journey Christie), son (Jermelle Simon) plus the teenage son Kelvin (Diamond Lyons) he had with another woman (Gabrielle Dennis), and ge along with his sister-in-Law, Lucretia (Sykes) — but without that blueprint for success.
