Auchinleck Talbot, who once stunned Ayr United in a memorable Scottish Cup upset seven years ago, are hoping for another shocker—this time against Celtic.

With Hibs and Hearts already shown the door, will the tournament’s most decorated team be next?

The West of Scotland League Premier Division side, fresh from a 4-0 thrashing of League Two’s Dumbarton to reach round four, have landed a dream face-off with the 42-time Scottish Cup champions and Scottish football’s powerhouse.

As they prepare for the biggest match in their history, “the biggest wee-ist club in Scotland” is set to play under the watchful eyes of a full house and live TV cameras.

The only snag? The match won’t take place at their cosy 4,000-capacity Beechwood Park. Instead, it’s been shifted to Rugby Park—a move that might shave off any slight advantage they had in an already steep climb to make global headlines, reports the Daily Record.

However, Martin O’Neill’s Celtic can’t afford to let their guard down as they aim to secure a spot in the last 16.
