It’s a medical condition that has mystified both patients and doctors for decades. Myalgic encephalomyelitis or chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) describes a disease whose major symptoms include severe fatigue, trouble sleeping, brain fog and chronic pain.

These symptoms often become worse after physical activity and often persist for weeks.
