Colin Howell’s second wife said she quoted Bible verses to him after he confessed to two murders, but did not tell detectives at the time that she had known about the killings for more than a decade.
Newly released footage, which features in the second episode of Confessions of a Killer on BBC Two, shows Kyle Jorgensen, who married Howell in 1997, being interviewed by detectives on the evening of January 29, 2009.
