Bert’s Properties Ltd demanded over €400,000 despite ‘incomplete and defective upgrade works’

A property services company run by two convicted tax offenders has been accused of using strong-arm tactics to get paid over €400,000 for substandard work on homes due to be used for social housing.
The allegation has been made in High Court proceedings against Bert’s Properties Ltd, a firm run by Co Galway businessmen Alan Connolly and Conor Nolan.
