Lover, Liar, Predator
9pm, BBC Two
“He was the sun; I just, like, revolved round him.” In a sensitive documentary, four incredibly brave young women – Jenni, Natalie, Shannon and Robyn – talk about a man they all encountered. He was placed on the sex offender register, twice, then began a web of physically and mentally abusive relationships that led to multiple pregnancies, as well as affairs. But his victims eventually spoke out and brought him to justice. Hollie Richardson
Jamie’s Feasts for a Fiver

A few purse-friendly treats to lure you into the chef’s kitchen this week: gnocchi swimming in creamy blue cheese and broccoli sauce; crispy noodle fishcakes vamped up with a jar of harissa; and nutmeg-infused mango rice pudding topped with roasted coconut. HR
Silent Witness
9pm, BBC One
The long-running drama returns, with the forensic crime action relocated to Birmingham for series 29. In the first of a two-part story, Nikki (Emilia Fox) and Jack (David Caves) find themselves embroiled with an unlikely hitman. The plot is decent – but Fox’s bob is the real star of the show. No, not an attempt to wring a series out of the 80s movie. This documentary series follows 30 soldiers as they form a platoon in the Rifles infantry regiment. First up, they figure out how to live, work and socialise together while being thrown into a week-long training exercise in Bannau Brycheiniog (formerly known as the Brecon Beacons) – prior to deployment in eastern Europe. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Things inevitably start to get grisly in the lively Game of Thrones prequel, as the tourney begins – and entitled brat Aerion Targaryen takes to his horse. The prince continues to outrage the locals as Dunk and Egg make preparations – and stick around for the major cliffhanger ending. HR
Industry

In the most migraine-inducing episode of the season yet, Charlie Heaton’s scratchy journalist, Jim, is having one hell of a bad day. After his exposé on Tender’s business practices has little effect, he attends the app’s launch and winds up on a mega-bender. Meanwhile, is Whitney playing Yas and Henry off against each other? HR

Chevalier (Stephen Williams, 2022), 10.55pm, Film4
Celebrated composer and violinist, master fencer, and revolutionary soldier – Joseph Bologne led a life that Stephen Williams’ period biopic has a job on to encapsulate. The mixed-race son of an enslaved Guadeloupe woman and a French plantation owner, Joseph (Kelvin Harrison Jr) rises through late 18th-century Parisian society, becoming a favourite of Queen Marie Antoinette (Lucy Boynton). But his celebrity threatens social and racial distinctions, and unrest is growing in the city. A fascinating slice of Black history about a man at the dead centre of the zeitgeist. Simon Wardell
