A man in his 40s has died following a crashing involving a lorry and a car in Co. Cavan.
Gardaí and emergency services were at the scene of the accident on the R192 at Corcloughan, Shercock.
The fatal crash happened shortly before 7.30am this morning.
The driver of the car (40s) was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The lorry driver, a man in his 60s was taken to the hospital for assessment.
The road remains closed for a technical examination by garda forensic collision investigators.
