Liverpool managed to beat Arsenal 1-0 on Sunday, enabling them to carry on their perfect Premier League start.
The Reds are now sitting at the top of the Premier League table and currently have nine points to their name.

Although Arne Slot’s men weren’t at their best when facing the Gunners at Anfield, they still managed to leave with all three points, which, in turn, ruined Arsenal’s perfect start.
Rio Ferdinand says that Dominik Szoboszlai reminded him of Steven Gerrard after his performance v Arsenal
The main reason behind Liverpool coming away with a win on Sunday was due to the impeccable free-kick that Dominik Szoboszlai managed to score.
The strike was 32 yards away from the goal, and although we’ve seen Szoboszlai score goals like that before, nobody expected him to pull a set-piece like that off at such a crucial time.
And, while reacting to the result of the game live on his YouTube channel, Rio Ferdinand was full of praise for the Hungary international.
“These games are often decided by one moment of brilliance, and Szoboszlai steps up and it’s an absolutely ridiculous free-kick,” Ferdinand said.
“Wearing the number eight shirt, there was a number eight, [in the] years gone by who was scoring goals like that on a regular basis and that was Steven Gerrard.
“He would have been proud of that one.”
Liverpool have a lot of pressure to live up to this season
Now that the transfer window is finally closed, Liverpool can focus on gelling their first-team squad together.
Although their second-half performance against Arsenal showed glimmers of the team they could potentially be, there are still a lot of improvements that can be made across the board.
Indeed, we finally saw the best of Florian Wirtz during the second half against Arsenal, and if Liverpool get that version of him from now on, they should be more than fine.
To add even more firepower to their ranks, Alexander Isak has been brought to Anfield in a deal worth around £125million and will likely be leading Slot’s attacking line for years to come.

However, since the Reds have now spent over £400million on improving their ranks, it’s clear that there’s a lot of added pressure upon their shoulders.
And, if they don’t end up retaining the title and end up getting knocked out of the Champions League again, questions will have to be asked.
