Ed Sheeran has announced five European gigs in December including one in Dublin ahead of the release of his new album Play on September 12.

In the aftermath of his Mathematics series, the Loop tour will see Mr Sheeran perform arena concerts, two of which will be in the UK along with one gig in France, Germany, and the final one in Dublin’s 3Arena on Tuesday, December 9.

Play will find him exploring new musical ground through collaboration with producers and musicians from around the world.

Mr Sheeran will be performing on the following dates:

  • Paris, France on Monday, 1 December
  • Munich, Germany on Wednesday 3 December
  • Coventry, UK on Friday, 5 December
  • Manchester, UK on Sunday, 7 December
  • Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday, 9 December

Fans eager to get their hands on tickets for the hotly anticipated return of the Shape of You star will have a chance at pre-sale which open at 10am on Tuesday, 11 September on Ticketmaster.

For the Coventry and Manchester dates only, fans can pre-order the album exclusively through Amazon.co.uk before 7pm BST on Sunday, 7 September to secure pre-sale tickets.

For the Paris, Munich, and Dublin shows only, fans can sign-up to register for pre-sale before 23.59pm on Monday, 8 September through edsheeran.com.
