Pharmacists across Ireland are warning people over the increase of counterfeit medicines being sold online, saying it is a “potential disaster waiting to happen”.

The Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU) is issuing an urgent warning to the public to think twice before purchasing medicines from unverified websites, as doing so could pose serious risks to an individual’s health.
