Back in 2019, just before the world got incredibly frightening, we were writing about Björk reimagining her album ‘Vulnicura’ as a virtual-reality app for Facebook’s Oculus Rift, HTC’s Vive and Valve’s Index headsets.

Now the app itself has been remastered and released for Apple’s Vision Pro in 2025. ‘Vulnicura VR – Remastered’ is the work of VR music firm PulseJet Studios, which has ported the original app while remastering its visuals and turning the music into spatial audio.

The company says that the remastered app will also soon be released for Meta Quest headsets.

There’s a cost to all this, mind. The original ‘Vulnicura VR’ app cost $24.99 at the time of its release, but the Vision Pro version costs $44.99 from Apple’s App Store.

It looks like a beautifully-crafted experience, but we wonder how many fans will be priced out of trying it. That said, if they can afford a $3,499 Vision Pro in the first place…
