A promising young Donegal apprentice is training hard ahead of the upcoming WorldSkills Ireland 2025 competition which takes place in Dublin next week.
Oisín Alexander (20), from Cavan Lower, Killygordon, will participate in the welding section of the prestigious event. He is currently undergoing his apprenticeship with Mooney Boats in Killybegs.
Oisin is pictured with Donegal ETB’s welding instructor, and WorldSkills Ireland Chief Welding Expert, Cathal McGee.
“Oisin is one of our former Finn Valley College students and now a Metal Fabrication apprentice,” an ETB spokesperson said.
“We wish Oisin and all the Donegal competitors the best of luck in their competitions next week”.
