Included in the digital release are some brand new bonus features and some deleted scenes which didn’t make it to the film’s final cut.

The deleted scenes are titled ‘Thanksgiving Soup Kitchen’, ‘Fantastic Four Day’, ‘Subterranea’, ‘Birthday Sweater’ and ‘Taking Turns’.

In ‘Taking Turns’, Richards and Storm are woken during the night by their infant son Franklin, discussing whose turn it is to deal with the crying baby.

‘Subterranea’ sees Storm getting a lift all the way down to a subterranean level to pay a visit to Subterranea, a kingdom beneath the surface of the Earth.

Also included in the new features is a gag reel which will highlight a series of fun outtakes from the set with the cast and crew.

No bonus feature would be complete without a special audio commentary and this is no exception. The digital release includes commentary by director Matt Shakman and production designer Kasra Farahani.

As well as all of this, a number of featurettes and behind-the-scenes interviews are included in which the cast and filmmakers discuss their thought processes and design decisions.

If you’ve already seen the movie, Digital Spy has compiled a list of seven Fantastic Four Easter eggs you might have missed in their MCU debut.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is available to buy or rent from Prime Video, Apple TV and more in the UK.
