EastEnders’ Oscar Branning confesses to attacking Patrick Trueman next week – and lands himself in the police station as a result.
After growing close to Patrick in the weeks since his violent attack, Oscar’s guilt gets the better of him when Patrick’s son Anthony arrives and is devastated to discover what happened to his dad.

The confession also causes trouble for the Brannings. Peter is quick to realise that Lauren knew about her brother’s crime and has been covering it up, prompting some very awkward questions.
When Anthony demands that Oscar be punished for his assault, Jack explains that it must be Patrick’s decision to report him. Will Patrick dob in Oscar?
Later, Oscar tensely awaits his fate at the police station – certain that his actions will lead to a second stint in prison.

Little does he know, his sister Lauren is blackmailing Howie. She tells him to talk Patrick out of pressing charges – or she’ll reveal that Howie is in possession of Patrick’s stolen cash.
“Howie took Patrick’s cash from Lauren to solve his and Kim’s money issues – if the family knew this, his life would be left in ruins,” our source adds.
“Howie tries to talk Patrick round, but protective son Anthony keeps thwarting his efforts. His only hope of keeping his crime a secret is to keep Oscar out of prison – whatever it takes!”

As Patrick comes to terms with Oscar’s confession, Yolande worries about her fiancé’s mental state. However, she is totally blindsided when Patrick declares that he wants to postpone their wedding.
