Sarkeet (Malayalam)
Directed by Thamar, ‘Sarkeet‘ weaves together the struggles of two very different lives in the Gulf.
One story follows Jakku, a spirited young boy with ADHD, portrayed with remarkable sensitivity by Orhan Hyder. His parents, played by Deepak Parambol and Divya Prabha, raise him with love and patience while navigating a society that often fails to understand him. The other centres on Amir, a man portrayed by Asif Ali, who is desperately searching for work abroad to build a better future.
Their paths cross in a fleeting encounter that lasts only a night, yet it transforms the trajectory of both lives. With its sincere exploration of family, resilience, and the bonds that connect us, Sarkeet resonated deeply with audiences.

Hridayapoorvam (Malayalam)
‘Hridayapoorvam’ follows Mohanlal as Sandeep Balakrishnan, a 40-year-old wealthy bachelor from Kochi who runs a thriving cloud-kitchen chain but leads a lonely life while waiting for a heart transplant. Even after the surgery, Sandeep dismisses its significance, claiming “a heart is only an organ.” But his outlook is challenged when he travels to Pune to attend the engagement of his donor’s daughter. His detached nature unsettles the family, and as unexpected events unfold, tensions rise, throwing the household into turmoil.

Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira (Malayalam)
The story revolves around Aby, played by Fahadh Faasil, a man who does not fit the mould of a typical hero. His fiancee, Nidhi, portrayed by Kalyani Priyadarshan, is a hopeless romantic with a flair for the dramatic. Her unusual request—that Aby should arrive at their wedding on a white horse—sets off a string of eccentric adventures that drive the film’s quirky narrative.

The Savant (English)
Inspired by a 2019 Cosmopolitan feature, this upcoming miniseries tells the story of Jodi Goodwin, a brilliant investigator nicknamed The Savant. Tasked with going undercover inside online hate groups, she works to stop violent public attacks before they unfold. Jessica Chastain takes on the lead role, with Melissa James Gibson directing the project.
Streaming on Apple TV+ from September 26.

Sumathi Valavu (Malayalam)
Set in a remote village in rural Kerala, the story revolves around a notorious bend in the road known as ‘Sumathi Valavu’. According to local legend, the curve is haunted by the ghost of Sumathi, and those who dare to cross it are doomed to die. Arjun Ashokan plays Appu, a young man who becomes entangled in the eerie mystery surrounding the haunted turn.
