It’s the end of an era in Starz‘s Power Book IV: Force‘s third and final season, premiering on November 7, and Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) won’t be going out without a fight. The official trailer was just released this morning and can be viewed above.

The action-packed two-minute preview is setting up for Tommy’s solo ride against the world, well, the Chicago underworld at the very least. And while he may be going at it solo, he is far from alone. Chaos, thy name is Thomas Patrick Egan.

“This is gonna be the battle of my f**king life,” Tommy shares in the trailer.

There’s also a cute little nod to the mothership series in a conversation between Tommy and D-Mac (Lucien Cambric) that will get fans excited for the newly greenlit prequel spinoff Power: Origins. Although as yet unconfirmed, Sikora is said to be leading a spinoff set in the present day, in development and tentatively called Power: Legacy, alongside fellow franchise star Michael Rainey Jr. as Tariq St. Patrick, if it goes to series. However, it’s anyone’s game at this point.

In Season 1 of Force, Tommy left New York after losing James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), LaKeisha Grant (La La Anthony), and the only city he’s ever known. He made a quick detour to close an old wound that’s been haunting him for decades. What was supposed to be a quick stop turned into a labyrinth of family secrets and lies Tommy thought were long buried.

In the final season, Tommy is back with an ever-growing list of enemies and with a relentless ambition to dominate Chicago’s drug game, which comes at a high cost. With the Feds on his tail and street gangs trying to take him down, he is strategic in his quest to take over Chicago’s drug game.

Tommy must poach customers from rival factions if he has any chance at becoming kingpin, all while battling Miguel’s (Manuel Eduardo Ramirez) growing power and navigating an increasingly complex minefield of threats in the streets. With a deepening divide within his coalition and his personal life under threat, Tommy must balance offense and defense to survive and protect everything he’s worked for.

To claim the throne, he must navigate an ever-evolving dynamic with his business partner, Diamond (Isaac Keys), and a contentious relationship with Diamond’s brother, Jenard. As pressure mounts from the coalition, the Feds, Miguel’s crew, and the Marquez Cartel, Tommy must find a way to protect his family and those he loves, including Mireya (Carmela Zumbado).

Adrienne Walker also stars as Shanti ‘Showstopper’ Page. Additional cast members include: Miriam A. Hyman as US Attorney Stacy Marks, and Anthony Fleming III as JP.

Although we’re still a month out before the show returns, Sikora is currently killing it on the Onyx Collective for Hulu legal drama Reasonable Doubt, starring alongside Emayatzy Corinealdi. While his character Bill Sterling is different in many ways from Tommy Egan, one gets the feeling there’s still much more to be revealed about him as Season 3 continues dropping episodes every Thursday.
