the festival will be located on the museum&#8217;s lawn and adult admission is $20 (a child&#8217;s ticket is $12); RSVPing is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A capacious and velvet-lined library brimming with ensorcelled stories, the tomes of times long gone, are an oft-visited location in several classic fantasy and horror novels.<\/p>\n<p>Books, in short, are central to these spirited and spooky stories, but finding a fantastical festival devoted to such tales, or at least possessing a strong whimsical or weird element, can be as challenging as inventing a peculiar and powerful potion.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, however, spellbound story-centered celebrations do materialize, and two such happenings are adding an October-style spirit to the most magical month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rarebooksla.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rare Books LA Antiquarian Fair<\/a> is up first with a weekend-long event at Union Station Oct. 4 and 5.<\/p>\n<p>The star of the show is one of the most &#8220;lit&#8221; stories in all of literature, the oh-so-electrifying &#8220;Frankenstein.&#8221; Complimentary talks exploring this terrifying titan of the genre, and other Frankly entertaining focuses, will festoon the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro&#8217;s &#8220;Frankenstein,&#8221;
