\n\tDef Leppard<\/a> is set to receive the 2,825th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame<\/a> on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 11:30 a.m. PT. Jon Bon Jovi <\/a>and Bruce Resnikoff, president and CEO Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), will be guest speakers at the event, which will be emceed by Bob Buchmann, Sirius XM radio personality.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe star is located at 1750 N. Vine St., in front of the historic Capitol Records building. The event will be streamed live at the Walk of Fame\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Def Leppard to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,\u201d Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer, said in a statement. \u201c\u2026 Def Leppard has earned a permanent place not only in music history, but now on one of the most famous sidewalks in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDef Leppard were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 (on their first nomination), with Queen\u2019s Brian May <\/a>doing the honors. They have had two Diamond albums in the U.S. \u2013 Hysteria, which is certified at the 12 million level, and Pyromania, certified at 10 million. The band has topped the Billboard 200<\/a> twice, with Hysteria and Adrenalize, and the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> once, with \u201cLove Bites.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDef Leppard consists of Joe Elliott (vocals), Phil Collen (guitar), Rick Savage (bass), Vivian Campbell (guitar) and Rick Allen (drums).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the Walk of Fame for the City of Los Angeles and has hosted the iconic star ceremonies for decades. Millions of people have visited the cultural landmark since 1960.<\/p>\n
