The heartbroken family of Mark O\u2019Connor, his wife Louise and their son Evan<\/a> have requested mourners to make donations to two organisations close to their hearts.<\/p>\n They have also asked that mourners, over the coming days and when attending the viewing and funeral<\/a>, to ‘wear odd socks’ in honour of one of Evan\u2019s individual traits.<\/p>\n The shocking discovery of the bodies of Mark (54), Louise (56) and Evan (27), who had additional needs, was made on Monday morning at their home in Drumgowna, Louth Village outside Tallanstown. Gardai<\/a> said they had suffered “violent deaths”.<\/p>\n Robert O’Connor, 31, of Drumgowna, Louth Village, appeared in court on Tuesday<\/a> evening charged with the murder<\/a> of his parents Mark and Louise and brother Evan.<\/p>\n The court<\/a> heard that he has been with mental health services since the age of 22.<\/p>\n Defence solicitor Paul Moore made an application for a psychiatric assessment for his client, and also an application for legal aid.<\/p>\n He has been remanded in custody to appear again before Drogheda District Court on Monday morning, October 27 at 10.30am via videolink.<\/p>\n Now Mark\u2019s heartbroken brother Chris has now set up a GoFundMe<\/a> called ‘Mark, Evan and Louise’ to honour his brother, sister-in-law and nephew.<\/p>\n “Following the tragic events in Drumgowna Co Louth last Monday, we have set up this ‘go fund me’ page in honour of Mark, Louise and Evan,” the fundraiser states.<\/p>\n “Any monies collected will be shared between The Hub Praxis Care Drogheda and Drogheda ABACAS School,” reflecting Mark and Louise\u2019s care and generosity to others and the inspiration to many that Evan had become in his short but full life.<\/p>\n Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced but an emotional post has been published on RIP.ie<\/a> telling of Mark\u2019s love of running, Louise\u2019s volunteer efforts and work as a nurse and how Evan was cherished by all who knew him.<\/p>\n “Mark was well known for his love of running and was a cherished member of the local running club North East Runners Dundalk, while passionately working for disability advocacy through his career.<\/p>\n “Louise was known by all as kind, spent many years working as a nurse while also volunteering in the community and being a valued member of the Ardee Local Vocals singing group.<\/p>\n “Evan was cherished by all who knew him in the Community, during his time at ABACUS School in Drogheda and the Praxis Hub Network in Drogheda.<\/p>\n “Mark, Louise and Evan are survived by Cian and Robert.
