Lola Young has cancelled “everything for the foreseeable future” so she can work on herself and her health after she collapsed onstage in New York City recently.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old shared a statement on Instagram on October 1, saying that she will be “going away for a while” to work on herself and “come back stronger”. The decision comes after she passed out onstage at All Things Go festival and cancelled her appearance at the Washington D.C. date.<\/p>\n

“Thank you for all the love and support,” she wrote.<\/p>\n

“I’m sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know. Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund.”<\/p>\n

Lola Young has been open about her mental health diagnoses, including ADHD and schizoaffective disorder (which combines symptoms of schizophrenia and mood disorders like bipolar).\u00a0<\/p>\n

She also discussed her addiction struggles openly in a recent profile with The Guardian<\/a>, where she said she’s “had to be away a bit” and that recovery is “not linear, it’s up and down, but it’s down to dysregulation of dopamine.”.<\/p>\n
