The Westbury<\/a> in Dublin has been named best hotel<\/a> in Ireland in the annual Cond\u00e9 Nast<\/a> Traveller Readers\u2019 Choice Awards. It is the sixth time the five-star hotel<\/a> has won the award. <\/p>\n

The awards are based on almost 760,000 Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller readers\u2019 votes cast according to a checklist including design, food and service. <\/p>\n

Second place in Ireland went to Cashel Palace Hotel<\/a> in Cashel, Co Tipperary, while third went to Ard na Sidhe Country House in Killorglin, Co Kerry.<\/p>\n

Anantara The Marker Dublin<\/a> was fourth, Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate<\/a> in Co Galway was fifth and The Merrion in Dublin took sixth place. The seventh spot went to Park Hotel Kenmare<\/a> in Co Kerry, and eighth to The Montenotte in Cork. Kilkea Castle in Co Kildare was ninth, while Ballyfin Demesne in Co Laois rounded out the list. <\/p>\n

The Westbury\u2019s Doyle Collection parent was also recognised in London, with two of its hotels there \u2013 The Kensington and The Bloomsbury \u2013 featuring on the list for the English capital.<\/p>\n
