Therefore, while these events may seem concerning as they pass through the sky, they are not dangerous.

However, Dr. McDowell warned that the return of other objects to the atmosphere could pose a significant threat, given that their operators do not have control over them.

In an interview with the space news magazine “EarthSky,” he said: “Every few months, a piece of space equipment is reported to have returned to Earth as debris… So, these random strikes on people on the ground occur several times a year, and we have been very lucky that no one has been hit… but this will not last long.”

While the removal of Starlink satellites from orbit may not pose a direct danger to humans, Dr. McDowell confirmed that it is considered a real problem.

Scientists are still trying to understand the impact of this rate of orbital exit on the Earth’s atmosphere. Pollutants resulting from burning processes, such as aluminum oxide particles, may contribute to warming the atmosphere.

SadaNews – Space trackers have revealed that up to four satellites from Elon Musk’s massive “Starlink” constellation are…

[270
18,19,17,133,451,71026,71024,71025
0":"post-115299","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-space","8":"tag-eire","9":"tag-ie","10":"tag-ireland","11":"tag-science","12":"tag-space","13":"tag-71026","14":"tag-71024","15":"tag-71025
["GET
