Actor Naslen says the film \u2018Alappuzha Gymkhana\u2019 completely changed his life. He chose the role because he believed it would work out well, but more than the movie\u2019s outcome, it was the character itself that brought major changes in his personal life.<\/p>\n
Through the training for the role, he was able to achieve physical fitness and health, as well as develop a disciplined lifestyle. \u201cIn \u2018Gymkhana\u2019, my character is someone who takes a lot of punches, but in real life, no one can just knock someone down so quickly,\u201d Naslen said during an interview with Manorama Online as part of promotions for his film \u2018Lokah\u2019.<\/p>\n
Though his performance in \u2018Alappuzha Gymkhana\u2019 was trolled and criticised across social media platforms, the actor said he is happy with the transformation the film brought into his life. \u201cMore than entering the 100-crore club, what gives me real joy is the audience\u2019s acceptance. What has brought me here is not just talent, but luck as well,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Speaking about cinema as a whole, Naslen said teenage romance and friendship are themes that connect with all kinds of viewers, and he hopes to see more such films in the future. \u201cI don\u2019t believe I have stardom. That\u2019s a heavy burden to carry, and I can\u2019t handle it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Naslen also expressed his fondness for his role in \u2018Lokah\u2019, calling it a fresh chapter in his career. \u201cMy guru in cinema is Girish AD, and my favourite actor is Mammookka. In the industry, the person I share the closest friendship with is Mathew.
