Las Vegas nightlife is known for surprises, but few could have predicted a Justin Bieber <\/strong>impersonator would manage to fool staff and partygoers at one of the city\u2019s biggest resorts.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, August 16, DJ Gryffin<\/strong> (born Daniel Griffith<\/strong>) was in the middle of a set at XS Nightclub inside Wynn Las Vegas when he was informed that the pop superstar himself had arrived. \u201cIt started when Bustin Jeiber showed up to the club and I was told he wanted to perform,\u201d Gryffin, 37, shared on Instagram<\/a> two days later. \u201cDark venue and loud music didn\u2019t help here. So his \u2018team\u2019 said he wanted to perform \u2018Sorry.\u2019 Little did I know I was about to be sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n

The supposed Bieber, 31, even made it to the stage. \u201cAfter an elaborate and multi-step ruse by him and his advance team, a Justin Bieber impersonator was granted access to the XS stage,\u201d a Wynn Las Vegas spokesperson told Us Weekly<\/a>. \u201cAs soon as the error was recognized, he was removed from the resort and denied future entry.\u201d<\/p>\n

For a few minutes, though, the crowd believed they were seeing the real thing. Gryffin recalled, \u201cThe venue went wild and after 4 minutes and 27 seconds of what sounded like Justin Bieber, I found out the worst news imaginable.\u201d Gryffin was one of the last people to find out Bieber was a fake, and hilariously recounted the moment he found out. After the video showed him with a huge grin on his face walking out of the venue, saying, \u201cthat was actually insane,\u201d his face turned to pure shock when a friend delivered the news. The video was hilariously captioned simply, \u201cbiebergate2025.\u201d<\/p>\n

The story quickly went viral, attracting playful responses from other DJs like Diplo<\/strong>, who commented, \u201cDamn, we should have stayed on that boat lol,\u201d while Zedd<\/strong> left a crying emoji.<\/p>\n

Other fans left comments like, \u201cEveryone at xs thought it was him me included,\u201d and \u201cman fully committed\u2026 gotta give him props.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another joked. \u201cHad em all beliebin\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the greatest marketing ploy of all time. Well played,\u201d a fourth suggested, while another agreed, \u201cThis is such a great marketing move.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though Wynn officials haven\u2019t officially named the culprit, Us Weekly confirmed that Dylan Desclos <\/strong>was the man behind the prank. He was spotted later that weekend at Las Vegas Premium Outlets, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n
