Former Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner is releasing a new memoir, Golden Years, in which he discusses his brief marriage to Theresa Nist.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Gerry said in a new interview that Theresa \u201cshould be worried,\u201d hinting at some unflattering reveals in the book.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Gerry Turner might have left Bachelor<\/a> Nation<\/a> behind, but the drama continues. The first Golden Bachelor<\/a> lead is preparing to release his memoir, Golden Years, and he has an ominous warning for his ex-wife, Theresa Nist<\/a>. In a new interview, Gerry said that Theresa \u201cshould be worried\u201d about what he\u2019s going to reveal.<\/p>\n Gerry and Theresa met on season 1 of The Golden Bachelor and got married months later on \u201cThe Golden Wedding\u201d special. Three months after the ceremony in April of 2024, they separated.<\/p>\n Now Gerry is speaking out, saying he feels he was portrayed as the villain of the breakup, which might explain why he doesn’t seem particularly concerned with how Theresa will respond to the book. In fact, in a new interview with Us Weekly<\/a>, he said (and I quote), \u201cI\u2019m not worried; she should be worried.\u201d<\/p>\n Eric McCandless\/DISNEY via Getty Images<\/p>\n In one particularly revealing section of Golden Years, Gerry writes about feeling \u201ctrapped\u201d before their \u201cGolden Wedding\u201d special, though he told Us Weekly that it was \u201ca momentary truth.\u201d He explained, \u201cI had second thoughts, but I don\u2019t think [they] were exaggerated from anyone\u2019s normal second thoughts.\u201d<\/p>\n When reached for comment, Theresa told Us Weekly, \u201cIt makes me very sad to think that he felt empty and trapped. I wish he had said something and just ended it. But at least now I understand why he was so hurtful to me so many times. And I will say this. Those in glass houses should not throw stones.
