Casio<\/a> is marking the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future with a special edition of its classic calculator watch, the CA-500. <\/p>\n

The new limited model, the CA-500WEBF, revives the original 1980s design made famous on Marty McFly\u2019s wrist \u2013 this time reimagined with DeLorean details, \u201980s packaging and a price tag set to \u00a3115.<\/p>\n

The watch face borrows design elements from the DeLorean\u2019s taillights plus the OUTATIME licence plate, while the multicoloured calculator buttons echo the glowing time circuits we remember from Doc Brown\u2019s dashboard. <\/p>\n

What to Read Next<\/p>\n

Flip it over and you\u2019ll find an engraved “Flux Capacitor” \u2013 the fictional device that powered the film\u2019s time machine, which famously kicked in at 88mph \u2013 with the Back to the Future logo etched into the buckle for good measure.<\/p>\n

Casio has certainly enjoyed itself with the packaging: the watch arrives in a box designed to resemble a vintage VHS cassette, complete with faux-rental labels, a neat nod to the way so many people enjoyed the film.<\/p>\n

The smart slice of nostalgia feels reassuringly authentic, given that Casio was actually in the movie. It is also one of its longest-running designs.<\/p>\n

The CA-500WEBF goes on sale, fittingly, on 21 October 2025 \u2013 \u201cBack to the Future Day\u201d \u2013 and will be available in “limited numbers” online. <\/p>\n

Either way, this one\u2019s built to take you straight back to Hill Valley, 1985.<\/p>\n
