{"id":122030,"date":"2025-10-14T19:24:08","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T19:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/122030\/"},"modified":"2025-10-14T19:24:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T19:24:08","slug":"wholesale-inflation-eases-to-0-13-in-sep","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/122030\/","title":{"rendered":"Wholesale inflation eases to 0.13% in Sep"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The annual rate of inflation based on All India Wholesale Price Index (WPI) eased to 0.13% in September, from 0.52% in August, according to data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Positive rate of wholesale price inflation, the ministry said, is primarily due to increase in prices of manufacture of food products, other manufacturing, non-food articles, other transport equipment and textiles etc.<\/p>\n<p>WPI Food Index, consisting of \u2018food articles\u2019 from primary articles group and \u2018food product\u2019 from manufactured products group, decreased from 193.5 in August to 192 in September. The rate of inflation (y\/y) based on WPI food index decreased to (-) 1.99% (deflation) in September from 0.21% in August.<\/p>\n<p>The index for primary articles decreased by 1.05%, from 191 in August to 189 in September, 2025. Prices of food articles (-1.38%) and non-food articles (-1.06%) decreased in September as compared to August prices. The price of minerals (1.36%) and crude petroleum and natural gas (0.64%) increased in September as compared to August.<\/p>\n<p>Fuel &amp; Power index decreased by 0.14% from 143.6 in August to 143.4 in September, 2025.
