Julia Roberts<\/a> is on an unstoppable style streak. In the midst of a promotional run for her upcoming film After The Hunt, the actress has rewritten the rules of method dressing (or fangirling) with her Luca Guadagnino knitwear<\/a>, debuted the vision of Dario Vitale’s Versace, given us all the suit-and-tie inspiration we could ever need, and even lent her look to fellow actress Amanda Seyfried<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, the Pretty Woman star has delivered her most relatable look of late. For her most recent outing, Roberts took things back to basics with an elevated denim outfit that called on the British brand Me + Em. <\/p>\n

Spotted arriving at a filming of The Kelly Clarkson Show in New York, the actress demonstrated the best of autumnal city dressing in a pair of subtly flared denim jeans, constructed with functional front-pockets in an indigo wash, which she styled with a buttery-tan leather jacket and navy blue cotton blouse with broderie detailing through the body and sleeves.<\/p>\n

She paired the effortless look with a deep blue leather shoulder bag, black patent leather pointed heels and a pair of oversized vintage-style round sunglasses. The dark style of the denim also contrasted beautifully with Roberts’ latest caramel copper hair colour, which she styled in her signature loose waves. <\/p>\n

It’s been a big year for the flared jean style \u2014 much of which was down to the hype of Kendrick Lamar’s Superbowl half-time show and his denim Celin\u00e9 flares \u2014 but the silhouette feels particularly befitting for the autumn months, especially when paired with this season’s trending trainers<\/a> or kitten-heel ankle boots<\/a> and a cashmere knit. As Roberts demonstrates, the flattering denim style can be dressed up for more formal occasions too with the addition of a heel and delicate blouse. <\/p>\n

It’s not the first time that the British brand has been spotted on the A-list of late; last month, Pamela Anderson opted for a black knitted co-ord set<\/a> from Me + Em while attending the Deauville American Film Festival in France, while Daisy Edgar-Jones was spotted out in London wearing the classic swing mackintosh coat<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

The brand has carved out an increasingly growing reputation in the mid-range luxury space, with modern, elegant pieces that combine style and substance while solving the realistic wardrobe dilemmas faced by contemporary women. It currently has 12 stores in the UK, and has recently expanded into six stores across the Atlantic to serve its growing US customer base. <\/p>\n
