Arsenal have hijacked Tottenham move for Eberechi Eze, according to David Ornstein.<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta\u2019s side have already taken significant strides to improve their squad this summer<\/a><\/strong>, with Martin Zubimendi, Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard,\u00a0Cristhian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga arriving for around \u00a3200m.<\/p>\n

They were heavily linked with Eze<\/a><\/strong> earlier in the window, but appeared to drop their interest as Spurs pushed for the playmaker\u2019s transfer.<\/p>\n

Eze reportedly agreed terms with Spurs ahead of Palace\u2019s 0-0 draw with Chelsea on Sunday, and on Monday evening, Fabrizio Romano revealed<\/a><\/strong> Spurs and Palace had a meeting over Eze to discuss the final terms.<\/p>\n

\u201cTottenham keep working on Eberechi Eze. A direct meeting took place on Monday between Daniel Levy and Steve Parish,\u201d Romano said on his YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn offer of \u00a355m, plus \u00a35m in add-ons is on the table and Tottenham are trying to reach an agreement after Eze informed Crystal Palace last week of his desire to go to Tottenham.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe really wants to go after winning two titles, the first two in the history of Crystal Palace, as he believes this can be the moment to go and play in the Champions League.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Tuesday afternoon, Romano added: \u201cNegotiations for Eberechi Eze to Spurs are again underway today after \u00a355m plus \u00a35m proposal yesterday.<\/p>\n

But now, in a huge blow to Spurs, following Kai Havertz\u2019s knee injury, Arsenal have reignited their interest in Eze, who \u2018wants to join\u2019 them over their bitter North London rivals.<\/p>\n

Reports on Wednesday<\/a><\/strong> claim Arsenal are also \u2018weighing up\u2019 a move for Aston Villa\u2019s Morgan Rogers, while teammate Ollie Watkins and Chelsea\u2019s Nicolas Jackson have also been linked with a move to the Emirates.<\/p>\n

\u2018Talks over the England international between Palace chairman Steve Parish and counterpart Daniel Levy have taken place over recent days but Arsenal\u2019s interest has remained with negotiations now underway between the clubs following the knee injury suffered by Kai Havertz.<\/p>\n

\u2018Spurs had the conditions of a deal agreed with Palace today and the player but are ready to move on to alternative targets if Eze chooses Arsenal.<\/p>\n

\u2018Palace would not finalise a deal because they wanted the 27-year-old available for Thursday\u2019s Conference League play-off match with Fredrikstad.<\/p>\n
