Actor Dhyan Sreenivasan has recently revealed that his father, veteran actor and filmmaker Sreenivasan, personally apologised to Mohanlal for his past remarks. Speaking at an event organised by the Mohanlal Fans Association abroad, Dhyan said his father expressed his regret while meeting Mohanlal on the sets of \u2018Hridayapoorvam\u2019 after many years.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the set of Hridayapoorvam, when my father met Lal sir after a long time, he told him, \u2018Did my comments hurt you, Lal? Please forgive me.\u2019 Lal sir smiled and replied, \u2018Srini, let it go.\u2019 I don\u2019t think anyone else in the world would have such a large heart,\u201d Dhyan said. Dhyan went on to praise Mohanlal\u2019s humility and grace in handling criticism.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve often wondered why we don\u2019t celebrate Mohanlal the human being as much as we celebrate Mohanlal the actor. We can never be actors like him, but if we try, perhaps we can be human beings like him,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Referring to Sreenivasan\u2019s earlier comments about the actor, Dhyan said Mohanlal had faced several criticisms over the years but chose silence over confrontation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and we felicitated him, he said something remarkable\u2014that we have praised him to the skies and pulled him down to the ground as well. Yet, he never responded to any of it. He has the strength to turn negativity into positivity and forgive everything,\u201d Dhyan noted. He added that his long-cherished dream is to make a film featuring both his father and Mohanlal together.<\/p>\n
