The fashion designer, 76, lead the stars at the\u00a019th Annual DKMS Gala Honoring Coco Rocha<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0Cipriani Wall Street on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Vera looked sensational at the event as she arrived wearing a striking red gown, featuring a dramatic plunging neckline.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her sleeveless gown was completed with drooping lace ruffles, a ruched bodice and leg split.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Also in attendance was Harvey Weinstein<\/a>‘s ex-wife Georgina Chapman<\/a>, 49, who is herself a designer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Georgina looked incredible on the red carpet in a black lace sheer one-shoulder gown, featuring a corset-design and floral pattern appliques.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The singer’s strapless dress featured a sweetheart neckline and the roses dissapated to leave a stunning white train on the floor.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Canadian model Coco Rocha, who the event was celebrating, also wore red, stepping out in a dramatic sequin and tulle one-shoulder mermaid gown.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Coco’s gown featured a tulle and sequin wrap design with a huge mermaid skirt and she was joined on the carpet by her three children.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Elsewhere designer Marc Jacobs took to the red carpet at the event with CEO of multinational beauty company Coty Inc.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Singer-songwriter Coco Jones opted for a daring burgundy satin lace-up dress, featuring a corset design and a sheer chiffon skirt and train.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She shared Instagram photos of her dinner party at\u00a0Le Relais Plaza in Paris, where she looked gorgeous in a black mini dress.<\/p>\n

Celebrating with friends and family, Vera blew out candles on her cake after a lavish dinner, as she gushed in the caption that it was ‘a SMALLISH CAKE for yet another BIG BIRTHDAY\u2026.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Vera also posted snaps of her gifts from loved ones which included candy, Prada homeware, caviar and multiple bouquets of flowers.<\/p>\n

The designer has always spoken candidly about her approach to aging, previously declaring she finds ageism ‘so old-fashioned’ and adding that in life, ‘you have to try and continue to grow in one way or another’.<\/p>\n

In a 2022 interview with BBC<\/a> 100 Women, Vera said her ‘magic elixir’ for staying youthful is work.<\/p>\n

She continues to work as chief creative officer of her fashion empire, which encompasses bridal wear, ready-to-wear fashion, accessories, fragrances, and homeware.<\/p>\n

Vera has been working in the fashion industry since the age of 18.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At 23, she made history as the youngest-ever fashion editor at Vogue, but it wasn’t until nearly 20 years later that she launched her namesake fashion label.<\/p>\n

However, perhaps more powerful than work is her approach to beauty – which is not to take it too seriously.<\/p>\n

Amazingly, she’s also praised her diet for youthful looks – claiming the secret is vodka, McDonald’s and donuts.<\/p>\n

‘I do eat McDonald’s, absolutely,\u00a0I order it every day, like two weeks on it, and then I\u2019ll change,’ she told\u00a0\u00a0Page Six<\/a>\u00a0last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The wedding dress designer also admitted she enjoys Dunkin’ Donuts, sharing: ‘I like the cream-filled, sugar-coated doughnut.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘It’s like a jelly donut, but it\u2019s cream inside, vanilla cream. I like the pink with sprinkles, too.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Apart from her nightly vodka cocktail, though, Wang said she only drinks water.\u00a0<\/p>\n
