Renters in Dublin <\/a>are being offered a rare chance to secure a brand new apartment <\/a>at a price well below the market rate, as Cluid has opened applications for 85 cost rental homes in Parkside, Belmayne, Dublin 13.<\/p>\n The apartments, which are part of the final phase of the Parkside development, are set at rents at least 25% lower<\/a> than comparable homes in the area.<\/p>\n One-bedroom apartments are available from \u20ac1,397 per month, two-beds from \u20ac1,725 and three-beds from \u20ac1,800. All 85 homes are A-rated and modern, and residents will benefit from from “secure, life-long tenancies and high-quality, responsive management and maintenance”.<\/p>\n Applications opened at 9am today and close at 5pm on Wednesday, October 29.<\/p>\n Colin Byrne, Head of Affordable Housing at Cluid, said: “These cost rental homes<\/a> are part of our final phase in Parkside. We received over three thousand applications for the previous phase of cost rental homes here. We are expecting high demand for these homes too, due to the high quality, excellent location and reduced rents.<\/p>\n “We’re urging interested applicants to familiarise themselves with the eligibility requirements and to complete their applications as soon as possible. Applicants will need to submit all their documentation online before 5pm on Wednesday 29 October to be included in the lottery.”<\/p>\n Parkside is located in the North Dublin suburb of Belmayne, with easy access to retail<\/a>, restaurants and health and wellbeing amenities, including Clarehall Shopping Centre and the Northern Cross development. Residents can also enjoy nearby Fr Collins Park and the beaches a short drive away.<\/p>\n Transport links are said to be “excellent”, with multiple Dublin Bus<\/a> routes, Clongriffin Station serviced by DART and commuter trains and close proximity to major road networks and Dublin Airport<\/a>.<\/p>\n The area also offers a range of childcare facilities and schools<\/a>, including St Francis of Assisi Primary School and Educate Together National and Secondary Schools, making it suitable for families.<\/p>\n The homes were delivered by Cluid in partnership with Fingal County Council and with support from the Department of Housing, Heritage and Local Government, The Housing Agency and the Housing Finance Agency, with Cairn Homes as the developer.<\/p>\n Cluid, one of Ireland’s largest approved housing bodies, manages over 900 cost rental homes across Dublin, Cork<\/a>, Kildare<\/a>, Kilkenny<\/a>, Meath <\/a>and Laois <\/a>and is aiming to deliver more than 1,000 new homes in 2025.<\/p>\n Cost rental homes are designed for those who do not qualify for social housing or supports such as HAP but struggle to afford market rents, offering long-term affordable living with rents set to cover only the cost of construction and maintenance.<\/p>\n To be eligible to rent one of these new cost rental homes, applicants must be able to prove:<\/p>\n Those interested can find more information and apply online at www.cluid.ie<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
