{"id":124753,"date":"2025-10-16T00:36:27","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T00:36:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/124753\/"},"modified":"2025-10-16T00:36:27","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T00:36:27","slug":"long-jaws-locked-wildlife-photographer-of-the-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/124753\/","title":{"rendered":"Long Jaws Locked | Wildlife Photographer of the Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alexis Tinker-Tsavalas&#8217;s Image<\/p>\n<p>Alexis Tinker-Tsavalas (Germany) spots this mating pair of long-jawed orb weavers on the wooden rail of a boardwalk.<\/p>\n<p>Alexis was on a guided nature walk in a Berlin wetland when he came across this scene.<\/p>\n<p>He used a technique called focus stacking to combine 27 images taken from a fixed position into one, using specialist software.<\/p>\n<p>These two long-jawed orb weaver spiders are mating.
