Kim Kardashian<\/a> revealed that her ex-husband Kanye West hasn\u2019t seen their kids in a \u201ccouple months\u201d on Wednesday\u2019s episode<\/a> of the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do you think co-parenting with Kanye West is like?\u201d the reality star asked with a laugh, later adding, \u201cIt\u2019s not easy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI raise the kids full-time. They live with me, and I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. He knows that I push for it all the time, but I also protect them when it\u2019s time for that, and it goes in waves and phases, and it\u2019s a lot of work,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Kardashian was married to West, who now goes by \u201cYe,\u201d from 2014 to 2021. Since the divorce, Ye, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016, has been a vocal critic<\/a> of Kardashian and her family.<\/p>\n

In Ye\u2019s documentary \u201cIn Whose Name?\u201d that was released last month, the rapper can be seen yelling at Kardashian\u2019s mother, Kris Jenner<\/a>, telling her<\/a> she had affected his mental health and then later saying that he would rather be \u201cdead than on medication.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2022<\/a>, Ye accused Kardashian of \u201ckidnapping\u201d their daughter Chicago. <\/p>\n

On Wednesday\u2019s podcast episode, Kardashian said that it\u2019s a misconception that she doesn\u2019t allow Ye to see their four kids. She said anytime Ye asks to see the kids, she allows it. \u201cIt\u2019s just a totally different narrative than what the reality is, and that just really sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that her oldest daughter, 12-year-old North West, recently gave her some advice.<\/p>\n

\u201cI say such positive things about their dad that North had to say to me, \u2018Mom, I think you go upstairs and, like, cry at night. It\u2019s OK. It\u2019s time to move on. You need to have a boyfriend now,\u2019\u201d Kardashian shared. \u201cI\u2019m like, wait, what?\u201d<\/p>\n

Kardashian said Ye\u2019s larger-than-life personality first drew her to him, but eventually, their relationship became \u201ctoxic,\u201d and she knew she needed to leave the marriage for the sake of their four kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce my mental health starts to get affected, and then I can\u2019t parent the way that I need to, and I can\u2019t be present and focused, there\u2019s got to be one of us that can, and I had to save myself in order to be a better mom for everyone,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Kardashian said she couldn\u2019t say what the final straw was for the end of the relationship. Instead, there were \u201cjust a lot of things\u201d that she couldn\u2019t deal with. When Ye would speak badly about Kardashian\u2019s mom, Kardashian said she \u201cdidn\u2019t feel safe emotionally or even financially.\u201d <\/p>\n

During one of Ye\u2019s mental health episodes, Kardashian claimed, he gave away all five of the couple\u2019s Lamborghinis to his friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t know what you\u2019re gonna get when you wake up,\u201d Kardashian said. \u201cAnd that\u2019s a really unsettling feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ye\u2019s reps did not immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n

Kardashian said when she divorced Ye in 2021, she thought she wouldn\u2019t be able to be a part of the fashion and art world because he was the one who had introduced her to that world.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of my biggest projects came about after I made that decision, and some of my best relationships with fashion and art and all these things that I thought I had to give up or told I wasn\u2019t gonna have any more,\u201d Kardashian said. \u201cAnd it was the universe just rewarding me and showing me that I was moving in the right direction.\u201d<\/p>\n

Besides opening up about her divorce with Ye, Kardashian also spoke about some of her most famous moments, like when she lost her diamond earrings in Bora Bora, which was captured on \u201cKeeping Up With The Kardashians.\u201d She said she was so upset because the earrings weren\u2019t yet insured.<\/p>\n

She also sought to clear up a rumor about her mother, saying Jenner and her longtime boyfriend Corey Gamble are still together, and gave her take on the so-called Kardashian curse, the idea that men who have a relationship with one of the Kardashians will have their lives ruined.<\/p>\n
