{"id":125209,"date":"2025-10-16T06:05:22","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T06:05:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/125209\/"},"modified":"2025-10-16T06:05:22","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T06:05:22","slug":"pink-pose-wildlife-photographer-of-the-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/125209\/","title":{"rendered":"Pink Pose | Wildlife Photographer of the Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leana Kuster&#8217;s Image<\/p>\n<p>Leana Kuster (Switzerland) shows a greater flamingo scratching its head with one of its unmistakably long legs.<\/p>\n<p>While on holiday in southern France, Leana had been watching flamingos in the Camargue.<\/p>\n<p>They moved gracefully through the shallow, saline wetlands, filter feeding for molluscs and crustaceans.<\/p>\n<p>Flamingos use their tongues to force water through their specially adapted bills, which are lined with many rows of fine, comb-like plates.<\/p>\n<p>These plates help trap a species of brine shrimp called Artemia salina.
