Herm\u00e8s\u2019 H08 watch has been a runaway hit for the Parisian fashion house<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Launched in 2021 as the brand’s flagship model, it bridged the gap between elegant and sporty \u2013 an atypical cushion-shaped case, quirky typography and a playful, very on-brand sense of proportion that instantly made it stand out in the market. <\/p>\n

Since its debut, the H08 has appeared in range of materials and finishes \u2013 from brushed titanium and black DLC to dark graphene composite and anodised aluminium in orange, blue and khaki green.<\/p>\n

Now comes the most technically advanced version yet: the H08 Chronograph Monopusher.<\/p>\n

The addition of a single-button chronograph ups the H08’s “serious watchmaking” appeal. <\/p>\n

Unlike the usual two-pusher setup, a monopusher uses a single control to start, stop and reset the timer \u2013 an old-school design regarded for its neatness, and one that requires complex engineering to execute cleanly. <\/p>\n

Collectors love them for their simplicity and symmetry: one pusher keeps the case lines pure, and the single, sequential motion feels satisfyingly “mechanical”. <\/p>\n

Elsewhere, the new model keeps the H08\u2019s geometric form but brushes up on the materials and detailing. <\/p>\n

The 44mm carbon-fibre composite case, coated with graphene powder, is paired with a ceramic bezel and black-gold dial featuring rhodium numerals and yellow highlights on the hands and minute track. <\/p>\n

The H09 Chronograph comes on a rubber strap in Jaune de Naples (yellow) or black, adding poppy accents to the otherwise monochrome look.<\/p>\n

It runs on Herm\u00e8s\u2019 H1837 automatic calibre using a new monopusher chronograph module \u2013 which required 212 components in total \u2013 and comes finished with the maison\u2019s signature \u201csprinkling of Hs.\u201d <\/p>\n

Water-resistant to 100 metres and priced at \u00a310,200, it’s a cool evolution of the H08: retro but contemporary, and now with an extra horological<\/a> twist.<\/p>\n
