The Ba***ds of Bollywood\u2019s huge success has made Rajat Bedi the talk of the town. But long before working with debutant director Aryan Khan, he had collaborated with the superstar himself, Shah Rukh Khan. On being asked about the similarities between father and son, here\u2019s what he had to say.<\/p>\n

Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan’s Biggest Similarity Is ‘Overconfidence’<\/strong><\/p>\n

He exclusively told Zoom, “One thing I noticed, the similarity between the two is overconfidence. Everything I saw in Shahrukh Sir, I see in his son. His son has this \u201cI will be number one\u201d attitude. He has the same spirit of wanting to be number one in his field, just like his father. Watching that was really nice.”<\/p>\n

The actor continued, “There are other similarities too. They do seem very similar in some ways. But intelligence is different.”<\/p>\n

Aryan Khan Is Very Funny: Rajat Bedi<\/strong><\/p>\n

When we pointed out that a key difference between them is their nature, Rajat said that social media can be misleading, and Aryan is, in fact, a very happy-go-lucky guy. “He can be a little uptight in front of everyone, but Aryan is very jovial. I would say he\u2019s really funny,” he said.<\/p>\n

Elaborating further, Rajat continued, “Because if he wasn\u2019t funny, the show itself wouldn\u2019t have worked. You wouldn\u2019t have been able to make it so entertaining. All those punchlines, the small jokes from Kashif, the bigger ones, Ghafoor, and even my character\u2014the charm and nostalgia, bringing back old film moments, how to present them\u2014that\u2019s all Aryan. That kid has worked really hard.”<\/p>\n
