The actor credited her for being his anchor and the reason he is who he is today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo one else could bear it\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Shubhankar Mishra, <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/bobby\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bobby<\/a> reflected on the toll his addiction took on their relationship. \u201cI told her that if there was any other woman in my wife\u2019s place, she would have left me. Because alcohol takes you away, makes your senses go wrong. You talk nonsense, you don\u2019t even know what you\u2019re saying. When you\u2019re sober, you don\u2019t even remember what you said. No one else could bear it. And that\u2019s why I quit drinking. I don\u2019t drink anymore. It\u2019s been over a year. I swear, I don\u2019t even feel like it. It\u2019s like poison for me.\u201dHe explained how alcoholism affected his behaviour. \u201cEveryone\u2019s body is genetically made differently. And no one realises how alcoholic they can be. Maybe that\u2019s what happened to me. It\u2019s not that I drank every day, but it made my mind go crazy. And when your mind goes crazy, you get angrier at one person. And she was a working professional. She took care of me. So, whatever I am today, everyone says my wife is the most important person for me. It\u2019s not that I don\u2019t give importance to my parents. But your wife, the way she sees you, you can\u2019t see your parents. That\u2019s the dark side. So, I\u2019m just very blessed.
