Lisa\u2019s world is turned upside down next week in Coronation Street as her strained family dynamic unravels and a web of secrets, manipulation and betrayal leaves her facing an unexpected and emotional exile from Weatherfield.<\/p>\n
The fallout from a shocking arrest, an emotional confrontation, and a secret deal behind her back now looks set to send Lisa packing for good.<\/p>\n
Betsy is in serious trouble after being arrested <\/a>on suspicion of damaging a police car and resisting arrest. She spends the night in custody, alone and confused, while her mother Lisa, is left stunned and panicked.<\/p>\n \t\t Kit breaks the news to Lisa that her daughter was taken into custody after being out all night, and Lisa is quick to turn her anger toward Becky, who has recently reappeared in her life. Lisa tells Becky in no uncertain terms that Betsy has been struggling ever since she came back, blaming her for the chaos.<\/p>\n Becky is visibly hurt by the accusation, but the pressure only increases when Betsy is questioned by the police. During an interview, an officer informs Betsy that, according to DI Costello, she not only vandalised a police car, but also resisted arrest and attempted to attack him. Betsy, clearly shaken, refuses to comment.<\/p>\n Costello issues Becky a chilling ultimatum.<\/p>\n Outside the station, Costello meets secretly with Becky, revealing just how deep his influence runs. He warns her directly: if she doesn\u2019t disappear again, things could get much worse for Betsy.<\/p>\n The veiled threat leaves Becky facing an impossible choice: stay and support the people she cares about, or walk away to protect them.<\/p>\n Later, Becky steps up in a way that surprises Lisa. She presents her with a flash drive containing CCTV evidence that clears Betsy\u2019s name. Lisa is stunned, unsure of who to trust.<\/p>\n With the evidence now in play, Betsy is released, but the damage to Lisa\u2019s trust and sense of control is already done.<\/p>\n A hidden deal is revealed<\/p>\n Shortly after Betsy is released, Becky receives a phone<\/a> call from Costello, confirming that he\u2019s done his part: he let Lisa believe he was the reason Becky stayed away. Now, he expects Becky to hold up her end of the deal; she must be gone from Weatherfield within a month.<\/p>\n Back at the flat, Lisa and Becky are seen together on the sofa, with Roy arriving unexpectedly. It\u2019s unclear what Roy might have overheard, but the tension in the room is clear.<\/a><\/p>\n \t\t Meanwhile, Betsy, now feeling free again, turns her attention to the future. She tells Becky she wants a fresh start and persuades her to go shopping for their planned move to Spain.<\/a><\/p>\n Lisa demands answers<\/p>\n Lisa later finds the pair at home, surrounded by shopping bags, and is shocked to see that Betsy has skipped work.
