Instead they travelled to Puerto Rico. \u201cHe had had the ring since May, and our friends said they would come along for the holiday. We flew out two days before them, and they came and had the ring with them. We went to the beach and Alan proposed on the beach front &#8211; it was fantastic,\u201d said Katlyn.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/4821687_3_articleinlinemobile_ECHO_20FEATURES_20WEDDING_20OF_20THE_20WEEK_20Katelyn_20and_20Alan_20n.jpeg\" alt=\"Katlyn and Alan were supported on the day by their family and closest friends.\" title=\"Katlyn and Alan were supported on the day by their family and closest friends.\" class=\"card-img\"\/>Katlyn and Alan were supported on the day by their family and closest friends.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The couple said \u2018I do\u2019 at the Rochestown Park Hotel on July 10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">\u201cWe wanted an outdoor wedding and that is exactly what we got&#8230; the weather was in the high 20s with the sun splitting the stones,\u201d said Katlyn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">Carol Cotter, from Spiritual Ceremonies, led their wedding ceremony in the garden. Music was by Willow Buckley, who is the bride\u2019s cousin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu Body Body\">The bride sourced her gown from Wed2B in Dublin. Hair and make-up was by Nic\u2019s Pin Ups in Hollyhill. Flowers were by Tracey from Florist4u.
