{"id":128565,"date":"2025-10-17T18:24:08","date_gmt":"2025-10-17T18:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/128565\/"},"modified":"2025-10-17T18:24:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T18:24:08","slug":"niall-horan-steals-utah-singer-sadie-dahl-deseret-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/128565\/","title":{"rendered":"Niall Horan steals Utah singer Sadie Dahl \u2013 Deseret News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.deseret.com\/entertainment\/2025\/10\/07\/the-voice-2025-who-is-sadie-dahl-utah-singer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.deseret.com\/entertainment\/2025\/10\/07\/the-voice-2025-who-is-sadie-dahl-utah-singer\/\">Sadie Dahl<\/a> made such a strong impression on \u201cThe Voice\u201d during her blind audition that country music star Reba McEntire declared the singer from Draper, Utah, could \u201cdefinitely win this thing.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">But during the competition\u2019s next round, Dahl found herself on the brink of elimination. <\/p>\n<p>Sadie Dahl and Tori Lorene compete in \u2018The Voice\u2019 Battles<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In a twist this season on \u201cThe Voice,\u201d the contestants on each team picked their own partners for the Battle round. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Dahl and her fellow Team Snoop Dogg member Tori Lorene ended up joining forces to perform Rihanna\u2019s \u201cLove on the Brain\u201d \u2014 a pairing Snoop Dogg said he was struggling with since both women were \u201csome of the strongest singers\u201d on his team. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Leading up to the performance, as the two singers rehearsed and received feedback from both Snoop Dogg and guest mentor Lizzo, Dahl said she had moments where she believed this round would be the end of her time on \u201cThe Voice.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cI like to be an optimistic person and be hopeful for the most part,\u201d the 20-year-old singer recently told the Deseret News. \u201cBut that thought for sure was kind of looming in the back of my mind, that this could be the last time I\u2019m on the stage.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Both Dahl and Lorene delivered powerhouse vocals during the Battle, with the Utah singer\u2019s lower register complementing Lorene\u2019s higher range. The pair received an enthusiastic standing ovation from all four coaches.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201c\u2018Voice\u2019 fans all across America, you just witnessed something very, very special,\u201d Horan said.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.50;background-color:#F3F1F0;cursor:pointer\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/CK65Y24Q5VBPLJJPQRD4PJK5SQ.jpg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"533\"\/>Toni Lorene, left, and Sadie Dahl rehearse for the performance in the Battle round of &#8220;The Voice.&#8221; | Trae Patton\/NBC <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Dahl had her arm around Lorene, a 28-year-old singer from Houston, as they received feedback from the coaches. Both McEntire and Buble indicated if they were in Snoop Dogg\u2019s shoes, they\u2019d pick Lorene as the winner of the Battle. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">After some deliberation, Snoop Dogg followed suit and officially declared Lorene the winner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cRightfully so,\u201d Dahl told the Deseret News. \u201cShe killed that. I genuinely feel that she deserved that win, and in the moment, that also felt right.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The decision left Dahl on the brink of elimination, but the singer said she had a feeling it wasn\u2019t over for her just yet. The show edited out part of Horan\u2019s feedback, she said \u2014 but at one point, Dahl said Horan hinted that he\u2019d use his steal on whoever Snoop Dogg let go.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">And it turns out he had been saving that steal for Dahl.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">As Dahl was thanking Snoop Dogg for giving her more confidence as an artist, Horan hit his red button to steal the singer for his team and keep her in the competition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s time to come home!\u201d he exclaimed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">After the steal, Horan told \u201cVoice\u201d producers he\u2019d been \u201cwaiting for Sadie.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He maintained his enthusiasm for the Utah singer off-camera, too. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Dahl recalled the One Direction singer shouting \u201cFinally!\u201d as she joined his team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cHis energy, he just felt so excited to have me,\u201d she said. \u201cHe seems so excited to have me on his team. And so I\u2019m really excited for the Knockout rounds, because he seems like he values me and my voice, and he\u2019s wanted me for a long time. He\u2019s fought for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Who is Sadie Dahl? <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Nervously stepping onto the stage of \u201cThe Voice,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deseret.com\/entertainment\/2025\/10\/07\/the-voice-2025-who-is-sadie-dahl-utah-singer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.deseret.com\/entertainment\/2025\/10\/07\/the-voice-2025-who-is-sadie-dahl-utah-singer\/\">Dahl<\/a> was hoping to get the attention of just one coach \u2014 that\u2019s all she needed to claim a spot on the show\u2019s 28th season. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">But to her surprise, Horan and Buble both turned around just a few seconds into her blind audition.
