Hugh Jackman<\/strong>\u2019s ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness<\/strong> knows a thing or two about betrayal \u2014 and a source tells the National Enquirer that she\u2019s giving old friend Nicole Kidman<\/strong> plenty of support and advice in the wake of her divorce from Keith Urban<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cNicole and Deb have been friends for many years and when everything went down with her and Hugh, Nicole was very careful not to turn her back on her,\u201d says the source. \u201cAnd boy is she glad she didn\u2019t, because Deb has been someone who\u2019s really stepped up to support her.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the Enquirer previously reported,<\/a> Jackman, 57, and Furness, 69, announced their separation in September 2023. At the time, the pair released a joint statement to People<\/a>, saying they\u2019d \u201cundertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, in January 2025 Jackman went public with his girlfriend Sutton Foster<\/strong>, 50 \u2014 amid rumors that the romance began<\/a> while they co-starred in the Broadway revival of The Music Man from 2022 to 2023 \u2014 and his relationship with Furness became strained as a result.<\/p>\n

\u201cDeb was blindsided when Hugh left and felt very alone in the wake of it all,\u201d shares the source. \u201cShe\u2019s the type to want to save a friend from the same fate so she reached out to Nicole as soon as she got wind of [their split].\u201d<\/p>\n

News of Kidman and Urban\u2019s separation broke on September 29 \u2014 and the next day the Oscar winner filed for divorce after nearly 20 years of marriage. Shortly after, TMZ reported<\/a> that the country signer, 57, already had a new woman in his life.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman<\/a>,\u201d an insider told the outlet at the time. \u201cLet\u2019s just say, Nicole doesn\u2019t dispute that, but she\u2019s still shocked over it.\u201d<\/p>\n
