Bob Dylan is also a fan. So was the late Shane MacGowan. He\u2019s been Grammy nominated. He\u2019s acted in The Wire and Treme. Now 70 years of age, Steve Earle \u2013 born in Texas \u2013 is also known internationally for writing one of the most famous songs about a girl from Galway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">The legendary artist is shooting the breeze with yours truly from his apartment in Battery Park City  in New York.
