After moving in to Caitlyn Jenner\u2019s Malibu mansion, Kennedy is now heading to Derry to live with Irish footballer and Wrexham captain James McClean, his wife Erin, and their four children.<\/p>\n

Ms Kennedy also went behind the scenes at Wrexham, while club owners and Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac were there, but they left when they heard of the \u201cnosy Irish woman\u201d, she told the Irish Independent.<\/p>\n

“I spent some time trying to spy on them. I think word got to them that there was a nosy Irish woman, and they left.<\/p>\n

“It was very cool to see behind the scenes of Wrexham. It’s just like the TV show, the [Welcome to Wrexham] documentary that Ryan Reynolds did.”<\/p>\n

Ms Kennedy said the viewers are \u201cgoing to love James\u201d, and that he is \u201cperceived to be slightly controversial\u201d as he refuses to wear a poppy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere’s like a \u2018poppygate\u2019 around him. He plays for Wrexham, and he’s obviously an extremely proud Irish man, and he refuses point-blank to wear a poppy on the pitch. And having lived with him, I have a greater understanding, because we go back to his hometown in Derry. He’s so proud of his roots.<\/p>\n

“He’s a really interesting person, very shy, not necessarily media-friendly. So I was so glad that his wife convinced him to do it, because I arrived as a stranger and I left a friend. I have a lot of time for James and his beautiful family. I loved them,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

This season, Ms Kennedy will also move in with the Crime World podcast host and Sunday World journalist, Nicola Tallant, whom she described as a \u201cfascinating person in so many ways\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe’s a journalist, so even watching her interview was an eye opener for me. She doesn’t give anything away. If I don’t like someone, it’s pretty obvious; if I love somebody, it shows in my body language, whereas with her, she was quite hard to read.<\/p>\n

“I think she’s brilliant at her job, she’s very fair, and she’s a nice way about her. When she speaks to people, she’s not condescending, she’s not rude.<\/p>\n

“She’s very factual and I loved her and us getting into our pyjamas and having a glass of wine together, we did have great craic. I saw more than the crime journalist. I got to see a fellow mum who likes to switch off at the end of the day. I really like Nicola.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the TV presenter added that Irish garden designer Diarmuid Gavin surprised her the most this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really got to know Diarmuid. And what surprised me the most about him was what an emotional person he is. His eyes fill up the whole time. He’s a really emotional man.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added hosting Living with Lucy is her \u201cfavourite job\u201d: \u201cI’m going to die in somebody’s house. That’s how long I want to do Living with Lucy. I want to do it when I’m a granny.\u201d<\/p>\n

Living with Lucy airs at 9pm on Sunday on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.<\/p>\n
