Emotional\u00a0Louis Tomlinson<\/a> has admitted he will ‘never accept’\u00a0Liam Payne<\/a>‘s tragic passing.<\/p>\n

The former One Direction<\/a>\u00a0singer died aged 31 in Buenos Aires after falling from a third floor balcony at the Casa Sur Palmero Hotel on October 16, 2024.<\/p>\n

A subsequent toxicology report revealed\u00a0alcohol<\/a>, cocaine and a prescription antidepressant in his system.<\/p>\n

In a new interview, Louis, 33, emotionally spoke about his friend and former bandmate’s passing.<\/p>\n

He said:\u00a0‘I naively thought that, at this point, I’d unfortunately be a little bit more well versed with grief than other people my age.’<\/p>\n

Louis lost his mother Joanna Deaken to\u00a0leukaemia in 2016 and just three years later, his 18-year-old sister\u00a0F\u00e9licit\u00e9 following an accidental overdose.<\/p>\n

He continued to The Independent<\/a>: ‘I thought that might mean something, but it didn’t at all. It’s something I’ll never really accept. I don’t think.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

As tributes flooded in on Thursday on the anniversary of Liam’s death, his\u00a0devastated girlfriend Kate Cassidy shared her heartbreaking final moments with the dad-of-one<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Posting a clip on TikTok<\/a>, the light-hearted video shows Liam playfully attempting to hoist Kate up into the air.<\/p>\n

After several attempts the pair then burst out laughing at Liam being unable to pull off the manoeuvre.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kate, 26, wrote alongside the previously unseen clip: ‘This video was taken during the last hour and last day Liam and I shared in this lifetime.<\/p>\n

‘I am forever grateful for the beautiful moments we shared. I will miss you for the rest of my life Liam.’<\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, Kate had shared a sweet black and white picture of the pair in bed with Liam kissing her cheek.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Liam’s younger sister Ruth also penned a heartbreaking tribute, sharing a sweet family photo showing Liam dressed up as a pirate.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Liam’s other sister Ruth shared a heartbreaking tribute to the singer also<\/p>\n

She said: ‘1year, 12months, 52weeks, 365days… whichever way I say it, it still means the most heartbreaking truth that you’re not here any more.<\/p>\n

‘When you used to go away on tour, and l’d cry that you’d be gone for a while, I always knew you’d come back, but now I can’t get you home, I can’t meet up with you somewhere in the world, I can’t facetime or text to see how you’re doing, it’s an eternal homesick feeling because we can’t go back.’\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ruth said that Liam’s death ‘will never make sense’ to her and revealed that she has a ‘reoccurring nightmare’\u00a0reliving his final minutes in the hotel room<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, his older sister Nicola described his loss as a ‘pain that will never heal’.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

She shared several intimate photos in her tribute and touchingly revealed how the family have kept his memory alive for his son Bear, eight, so he could ‘know all about his amazing daddy’.<\/p>\n

In her poignant message she also revealed how she has tried to make sure his niece Ffion remembers her uncle by comparing him to a ‘star in the sky’ and a ‘rainbow, butterfly, a cloud’.<\/p>\n

Tragically she recounted how she had been sitting at home with Ffion when news broke of her brother’s horrific death plunge from the third floor of the Casa Sur hotel in Buenos Aries.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Liam’s ex Cheryl, 42,\u00a0was pictured the night before his anniversary putting on a brave face<\/a> as she attended Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts’ 40th birthday celebrations.<\/p>\n
